Account Executive
As an Account Executive, you will develop new business opportunities using proven selling strategies to generate and close new customers of HIPAAtrek’s offering; software that enables healthcare organizations to organize, automate and track HIPAA requirements, creating compliance confidence within hospitals, clinics, and healthcare groups.
We are seeking an experienced Account Executive with expertise in navigating large organizations with multiple stakeholders who can assess product market fit and time to revenue. The position will have prospecting support from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and the marketing team to generate qualified leads. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, results-oriented Account Executive who has experience selling into enterprise healthcare organizations.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop new business opportunities for the growth of HIPAAtrek’s offering.
- Educate prospective customers regarding the HIPAAtrek solution.
- Manage the sales process from discovery through negotiation and close.
- Manage quota and activities to exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects/customers.
- Lead virtual presentations and demos to key stakeholders.
- Leverage CRM data to manage and forecast sales activity and ensure pipeline growth aligns with targets.
- Work closely with the SMEs and collaborate with Marketing to develop lead generation strategies and focused prospecting efforts.
- Become an expert in our platform, customer needs, competitors and industry issues and trends.
- Collaborate with internal product team and provide feedback from the field to help shape future development.
- Attend key industry events to enhance networking opportunities.
Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree, plus three to five plus years of software sales experience focusing on new business opportunities.
- Experience in selling solutions to the healthcare industry experience is required.
- Experience managing sales opportunities through the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to quickly assess and understand a prospect or customer’s business environment and needs, applying the business values of HIPAAtrek’s solution.
- Engage with prospects to understand their unique and specific business issues and produce compelling business cases to meet their needs.
- Experience mapping stakeholders into decision-makers and influencers and selling to each business’ unique pain. The ability to move a SaaS sale through multiple decision-makers.
- Strong technical background. Demonstrated aptitude for learning, explaining, and demonstrating technologies.
- Experience building strong business relationships with team members and customers.
- Leverage CRM data to construct, forecast, and manage sales activity and drive pipeline to meet revenue targets.
- Ability to accurately forecast opportunities to give management the insight needed in order to effectively grow the business.
- Excellent listening skills, along with superb written and oral communications.
- Strong negotiating skills and the capacity to manage and be creative in a complex sales situation.
